Omnia is a diversified Group that conducts research and development, manufactures and supplies chemicals and specialised services and solutions for the agriculture, mining and chemicals application industries.

About The Bursary


Educating our next generation is vital to achieving Omnia’s purpose: Innovating to enhance life, together creating a greener future.

The Group remains focused on critical issues such as securing a healthy and adequate food supply for a growing population, effecting a lower impact on the environment and ensuring safer operations for Omnia’s employees and customers. 

To enhance Omnia's Employee-Benefit programmes, the Omnia Future Fund was established to help the children/dependents of their employees to benefit from more affordable access to quality education.

The initiative aims to support financially needy students at universities, thereby contributing to the development of higher education graduates who are confident and proud of their African identity and heritage, academically and socially adept, and equipped with the skills and competencies enabling them to become professionals in their fields. 

The bursaries cover the expenses of tuition fees, textbooks, and other learning costs, to a limit of R20K per year

Who Can Apply


  1. Applicant must be a child/dependent of an Omnia (or group subsidiary company) employee. 
  2. Applicants must be under 21 years of age.   
  3. Applicants must be South African citizens.
  4. Applicants must be pursuing a FULL-TIME qualification IN 2023 (Grade 1-12)
  5. Applicants must be pursuing their qualification-level for the first time (ie, not repeating a grade) 
  6. The bursary will be allocated to students at Omnia's sole discretion.

  •  It is your responsibility to apply for entrance for your intended grade and school and to ensure that you are able to meet the entrance requirements stipulated for your grade.

Required Documents


Please prepare the following documents:

    All Applicants

    1. Certified copy of Un-abridged birth-certificate of Applicant (with parent's names) 
    2. If applicant is adopted, Submit proof of legal guardianship by employee
    3. Parent/Guardian's Omnia (or subsidiary) Payslip (less than 3 months old): For all household members, scan all documents into one file before uploading
    4. combine into one document/scan for all household members
    5. Final 2022 school report with an official school stamp
    6. Final year 2021 school report with an official school stamp 

For applicants under the age of 18, to comply with POPI regulations a signed consent form completed by your parent/legal guardian along with a certified copy of their proof of identity is required.
